Zoey's Story...
Zoey is our 9 month old puppy who was found by caring police officer who wanted to do everything he could to keep her safe and from being put down at the city kill shelter. Zoey is now in our foster care program. She is the sweetest girl, friendly with everyone. She is good with cats! She is friendly with dogs big and small but prefers dogs with a calmer energy level, ideally she can live with a male dog. She is spayed, hw negative, UTD on shots and just a happy puppy girl ready for a family! Kids 12+. Zoey is pretty much full grown at 40 lbs!! Wow a perfect little nugget!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoey, a Huntington Pit Bull Terrier/Plott Hound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Plott Hound for sale in Huntington, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Plott Hound puppy from a breeder in Huntington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Plott Hound breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Plott Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntington paves the way for another one to be saved.
