Nora's Story...
Welcome Meaghan, the sweetest senior!
She has a bit of a sad story. Her owner had Alzheimer's and police found Meaghan in a locked crate with no food or water, sitting in her own waste. The home was filthy. Family took the gentlemen back to another state, but would not take her. She's about 11, good with other dogs, loves kids, is 32 pounds, heart worm negative, has some dental issues and has some arthritis. She came in skinny and is active for her age. She loves to see people and kisses their hand when they come by. She's a very sweet senior.
This lady deserves an amazing home to spend out her remaining years. We are so grateful to have been able to save her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nora, a New Smyrna Beach Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in New Smyrna Beach, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in New Smyrna Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Smyrna Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Smyrna Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Smyrna Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
