Adam is an all-around adorable boy who was rescued along with his three great brothers. Together they have dreamed up a hundred kitten games and turned even the simplest paper ball into a dynamite toy! According to his foster mom, Adam is the most laid-back of the bunch, approaching everything and everyone with a mellow attitude and enjoying sweet attention but never being demanding. His handsome face and soft, plush coat promise he will have the classic good looks of a fabulous big tabby guy. Adam's confident nature and easy affection will make him a joy in a loving forever family. How about yours?!

About Our Shelter...

The Cat House on the Kings is California's largest no-cage, no-kill, lifetime cat sanctuary and adoption center located on 12 acres along the Kings River in Parlier, California, which is in the central San Joaquin Valley, southeast of Fresno.

At The Cat House, our mission is to:
1) provide a no-cage, no-kill sanctuary for feral and abandoned cats and kittens for the State of California, primarily serving the Central Valley;
2) facilitate the adoption of cats (primarily), dogs and other rescued animals into safe, loving, healthy and permanent homes;
3) educate the public on how to become directly involved in improving the quality of animal welfare;
4) offer low cost spay and neuter referrals.

Come Meet Our Pets...

You may visit The Cat House daily, except major holidays, 1-4 pm, by appointment only. We also have an off-site adoption center located inside Petco at 4144 N. Blackstone at Ashlan in Fresno, which is open open daily 10am-5pm and Wednesday 10am-6pm.

Our Adoption Process...

All cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for fleas and ear mites, tested for FELV/FIV and microchipped. You must fill out an adoption application and talk directly with one of our adoption coordinators. An adoption contract must be signed at time of adoption.
