Myrtle came to us with 8 puppies on 8/24/16 as the family was about to be euthanized in a high kill shelter. They were hairless from sarcoptic mange, exposed to parvo (3 puppies died) and momma Myrtle was extremely fearful of people. Her foster has worked extremely hard to help Myrtle overcome her fears. She's great with other dogs, loves kids and while initially shy of new adults, she is an absolute joy. She does not do well with cats or other small animals, but it's in her instinct by breed to chase squirrels and other small rodent type animals. She is crate trained and house broken, walks well on a long leash. She'd love room to run and play and be on watch for critters.
