PENDING MEET AND GREET! Due to high volume, we are only accepting Wisconsin applications at this time. Richie is currently living in a foster home in Jefferson, Wisconsin.
Richie Rich is as cute as he is lovable. Don’t you want to pet this handsome shaggy fellow? Richie is a great medium sized dog at 40 lbs. His previous owners said he is a goldendoodle they’d bought as a puppy, but we think he looks like a doodle and terrier mix. Richie is young and right around a year old, maybe just shy of his 1st birthday. He is healthy and happy and lots of fun to hang out with. He has a good temperament and a great personality. Richie belonged to a resident who always kept him outside and let him roam the streets nearby. But he deserves to be loved and spoiled and to live inside with all the other family members. (Dogs are people too, right?) ☺ Let him lay by your feet or rest his head in your lap for an ear scratch. He doesn’t like the crate so much, but he gets along with other 2 dogs in his foster home and is pretty accepting of all dogs and people. We’d recommend any young children at home be 3-4+
Richie is friendly and sweet, and he’s picking up on the good manners and basic training his foster mom is teaching him- he wants to please his people and seems to pick up on the routine quickly. Check out this cute boy who just wants to love and be loved. Open your heart to Richie Rich and prepare to be charmed.

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a home visit and a meet and greet. Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.
