Duke (95 lb) Big, Sweet Boy!'s Story...
Hi! I'm Duke! I'm looking for my new, true, forever home! Yes, I'm one handsome boy! I'm approx. 4.5 years old and approx. 90-95 pounds(1/5). I'm extremely sweet, loving, friendly and playful. I'm well socialized and have never met a stranger. You'll see how wonderful I am in my video. I'm great with older kids(teenagers). I will need to be the only animal in my forever home. I love and need all of the attention and don't play well with others right now. That said, I have a gentle, affectionate and loving temperament toward my humans. I'm a happy go lucky boy. I'm highly intelligent and learn quickly. I'm house and leash trained. I know some commands such as sit, lie down and stay. I love to play fetch. I get excited when I get to catch snowballs in the air! I'm a solid boy and very strong! I love everyone but have a deeper bond with men. I'm a polite boy. I will jump up and give you love if I'm invited. I love to go for car rides and ride well. I do have a little food aggresion if dogs or human hands come near my food but my foster is working diligently to resolve this. If your application is accepted, you will be able to talk to my foster about me. I'm ready to learn new things and finally live the good life I so richly deserve! I'm ready for a stable forever home! I'd love to be an exciting addition to your wonderful life! I'll provide the unconditional love and you can provide the safe and loving home! Don't forget those belly rubs!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duke (95 lb) Big, Sweet Boy!, a West Sand Lake Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in West Sand Lake, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in West Sand Lake.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Sand Lake already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Sand Lake breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Sand Lake paves the way for another one to be saved.
