Tootsie is currently living in a foster home in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.

Tootsie girl was turned over to us after having been found under a house with two puppies in a rural area. We were told that Tootsie was a cocker spaniel. We think not. After shaving her matted coat and after a few weeks of it growing out it was discovered she has a lovely butterscotch color. She has come out of her shell and loves women in particular. She follows her foster around. She is good in the house when being watched and taken out regularly. She is smart and learns quickly. She will crate at night and sleeps with another buddy. She enjoys sitting on the sofa and being wherever you are. Sometimes she will play with the small dogs but mostly she wants to be by your side. During the day she is in a play area with other small dogs.

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.
