Welcome to our newest Cairn Cutie! Maggie Mae is a shy little girl who needs to find trust in, and love from, her people. An owner surrender, she came to us a couple of days ago as an extremely shy, uncertain little girl who was cautious about everything. However, as her previous owner stated, when she warms up to her new surroundings and new people, she just blossoms! She is wonderful on a leash, very quiet, is house trained, sleeps quietly in a crate, and loves to be close to her person. Maggie Mae does have a crooked back leg that could have been an unset injury or a congenital problem, either way it doesn't slow her down a bit. She just has a cute John Wayne swagger. Maggie Mae has no problem with cats, though she is a bit jealous of other dogs if they get too close to her human. Stay tuned as she settles in more! She is going to be a hoot!
