My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mishka and T'Challah. (We're not sure how to pronounce it either. Lol!) These adorable brothers are nine months old (born April 6, 2016) and are quite handsome. Mishka looks to be a Siamese mix and T'Challah may be a main coon mix, he's growing up to be a very fluffy man!

They are both medium sized, about 10 lbs give or take an ounce, neutered and current with vaccinations. They are healthy as can be and have lived with the same family since they were four months old. They are good with other kitties, haven't ever met a dog but with the right pup could probably get along famously and they're good with kids.

These boys are indoor kitties, but a home with a protected outdoor space would be a dream come true for Mishka. He's been known to sneak a taste of the great outdoors but in the Bay Area it's just not safe. An enclosed patio or deck would be the best of both worlds!

Both boys are very well behaved young men. Mishka will occasionally ask for a table scrap - but T'Challah sticks to his own fare. Easy going and quiet on the meow-o-meter scale, these two are purrrfect companions for any home.

A little about each....

Mishka is an explorer. He loves jumping, climbing and snuggling. He is a big fan of playing tag with his brother and his favorite things include roast chicken and head rubs.

T'Challah LOVES to be held and cuddled. He likes to feel protected. Catnip toys and belly rubs are the way to his heart.

Neither kitty has ever bit or scratched anyone. Nor have they ever hissed!
They are very playful with each other and T'Challah loves to play with toys: strings, play mice, catnip toys.

You can get T'Challah to lie flat on his back if you give him a good belly/chin rub. Mishka always wants to be in the action and will happily sit on your laptop or block your phone to get your attention! But the audible purring makes it all worth it.

These boys are looking for a forever home together. Would you like to meet them? Please call Debbie, Jake's Place Adoption Manager at 415-548-0824 or visit http://www.jakesplacecatrescue.org.

Mishka and T-Challah are considered a Courtesy Listing. We offer our services to help other responsible rescue groups or individuals find good homes for cats in need. We have screened and interviewed each of the individuals before agreeing to post their cats.
