Tillie's Story...
Tillie is a bundle of tumbling, licking, playing and wiggling puppy love! A 12 week old Border Collie with silky black and white coat that gets curly when wet, Tillie is friendly and eager to play. A very confident and happy puppy, she warms right away to people and other dogs, rough-housing with her puppy sister and annoying the resident older dog with her eagerness to play. Tillie does fine in her crate at night - she much prefers to play with her human family, but settles down easily after a few minutes of loud protesting. Tillie is working on potty training but getting the hang of it. A smart, friendly and energetic pup who will make a great family pet or running companion.

If you are interested in meeting and thinking about adoption, please visit our website, http//www.wagginghearts.org, and submit a completed adoption application. Due to the high volume of applications we receive we are only able to process fully completed applications. All applications are processed in the order that they are received. On our website you will also find our adoption process and fees. Since we are a foster based rescue we are unable to set up meet and greets until a completed application is on file and has been approved.

Wagging Hearts is a foster-based, non-profit rescue organization.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tillie, a Hainesville Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Hainesville, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Hainesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hainesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hainesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hainesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
