* Best of everything: people friendly, cat friendly, dog friendly. * This little mama has now weaned her 6 kittens and is ready for her forever home. She is super sweet, EXTREMELY friendly, and very laid back. Peaches is vocal and likes to talk to you. She enjoys climbing her cat tower and perching up high. One of her favorite pastimes is watching all that is going on outside from a comfy window seat... birds, squirrels, cars going by... all so interesting to Miss Peaches. She is a bit of a nosey Rosie, she has to watch everything. She is best with older children, who understand how to respect the cats space occasionally. Other animals don't phase her one bit -- day one she walked into her foster home and went right up to the dog and other cats, not even a hiss, just wanted to check them out and say hi. If you are looking for a lovely and easy-going companion, contact us about Peaches today! She will settle in quickly into any home dynamic. Peaches also is pokydactyl, meaning she has an extra toe on each of her front paws. It makes her look like she has giant mittens on or a big thumb on either foot. Commonly referred to as "Hemingway cat".

About Romeoville Humane Society

About Our Shelter...

We have created a non-profit animal shelter dedicated to eliminating cruelty, abuse and the overpopulation of animals. The Humane Society is committed to creating the awareness of animal rights throughout the Romeoville community by providing numerous animal welfare programs, including pet adoptions, humane education and cruelty investigations. ALL animals available for adoption are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, fecal tested, fiv/felv tested (cats only), heartworm tested (dogs only) and microchipped. It is the policy of the Romeoville Humane Society to spay or neuter all animals in its care in an effort to reduce the homeless pet population.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Every few weeks we hold adoption events at area Petsmarts and Pet Supplies Plus'. Please conact us at romeovillehumanesociety@yahoo.com to find out when our next event will be.
