Jackie (ETAA)'s Story...
My name is Jackie and I am needing a new home because my parents are having their second baby. They feel they do not have time for me. I used to be their only baby and they got me when I was only 10 weeks old. I am now 2 and a half. I am a very affectionate boy and I love people and snuggles. I get overly excited around other dogs at first but I do warm up after a minute. I don't live with any other dogs now but am sure I would love a canine sibling or older human siblings. I recently complete a 6 week obedience course with flying colors. Please give a kid a chance. I deserve a loving family. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jackie (ETAA), a Harrisonburg Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
