  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Male
I don’t know why my former owners abandoned me, but they left me tied to a stranger’s fence. I was scared, covered in fleas, and so skinny that my ribs were showing. A caring neighbor took me in got me cleaned up. I’m a Chihuahua mix, possibly part terrier also.

I adapt well to new social stations because I just want to play. Seriously, I could play all day long! That’s why my foster family named me “Dizzy”. I might be a little challenging sometimes, just because I have so much energy. What can I say, I’m just so happy someone took me in and showed me love, and playing is my way of giving love back. But because of this, I need a family who is patient. It would also be great to have another dog for a buddy. I’m also a good jumper for a little dude. It’s easy for me to scale a 4-foot chain link fence, when something interesting catches my eye. Did someone say, “squirrel”?

But even as playful as I am, I need someone to cuddle with when I get tired. I like to burrow under the sheets, and shower you sweet kisses until I drift off to sleep.

About Coppell Humane Society

About Our Rescue Group...

Our mission is to serve homeless, needy companion animals in the Dallas-Ft Worth metroplex and surrounding communities through rescue, rehabilitation, and permanent placement in suitable homes; while striving to reduce their numbers through public education. Achievement of our mission depends on honoring, valuing, and supporting the efforts and contributions of our volunteers, donors and adopters.

The rescued animals live in our homes where we can monitor their health and behavior to provide individualized medical attention and/or training. They stay in our program until adopted or they pass away. We love helping those companion animals find a safe and loving furever home.
