SweetPea's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, and in need of an experienced adopter.

SweetPea's Story...
SweetPea is a great little bun but she is very particular about who she accepts. She was abandoned very young and she likely was not treated well before her abandonment. She does not like kids, men or brooms. She is fine with shelter staff, even experienced male bun peeps so we are looking for an adult home as a single bun with no kids. She is OK with calm dogs/cats. But fast movements and heavy steps can make her very defensive. She is a smart, tough little cookie who begs for attention and treats from those she LIKES. Why Adoption is a Great Option

SweetPea, a Foster Dwarf was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dwarf for sale in Foster, or seeking a Dwarf from a breeder in Foster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dwarf breeders who help with Dwarf rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foster paves the way for another one to be saved.
