My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NOTE: This is a courtesy posting for another rescuer. Please do not contact ARRF, as we do not know this pet personally. Meet this pet by contacting FCIAadoptions@aol.com or call 619-466-9137.

Obi is a 4-year old white Maltese/Poodle mix who weighs about 12 pounds. He is housetrained but does tend to mark his territory. He is a very sweet dog with people and other dogs. When he is around people only, he is very submissive and loves to be right next to you or on your lap. He does get jealous if you are giving attention to another dog but the other dogs don't seem to mind. Obi can be possessive of his toys and likes to shred them. Except for some pulling--which we are working on, he does walk well on a leash. He is a door dasher, so a secure home with no young children is a must. We suggest a home with children over the age of 10 for this dog. He loves to play with the other dogs.

This dog cannot be adopted out of state. Please see our home page for a list of our Saturday adoption sites. Every potential adopter is required to fill out an adoption application and the dog is placed in the home that would be most suitable for the dog. We do not place our dogs in homes with unfenced swimming pools. Generally we don't release the dogs at the adoption site that day except on occasion to former adopters.

If you are interested in adopting this Obi, please email FCIAadoptions@aol.com or call 619-466-9137.
