Hello Everyone,
My name is Jasper and I’m a five-year-old sweetheart of a bichon who weighs almost fifteen pounds, has a smile for everyone I meet and definitely loves to snuggle. I’m a cuddler and a lover, great with other dogs and cats (no typo there!) and am outstanding with people of all sizes and shapes. My foster mom says I’m sweet, friendly, happy, brave and affectionate. (I think she likes me, don’t you?!)
I’m a good listener, have eyes that will touch your soul and am a great companion! I like to be wherever Mom is – but I am not intrusive. If I can lie nearby and watch her, that makes me happy. I also LOVE to go for rides in the car (just open the door and I lie quietly in my crate for the entire journey) and I love my walks. I also love to play. (I’ll tell you more about that in a minute!)
Mom says I’m eager to please and fun to live with and there’s always a smile on my face. I’m known for climbing into children’s lap and taking treats gently from their hands. I also am learning commands. Mom says that when she tells me to ‘sit’ I plop my bottom down with real enthusiasm! And my tail never stops wagging. In fact it wags so vigorously that it touches both sides of my body! Mom says I’m adorable, cute and a very special boy!
Besides being special in all the ways I’ve been described, I’m also special in one other way. I have the ability to see with my heart, rather than with my eyes. I have compensated by listening and hearing really well. Remember I said I play with toys. Well, I do! I listen for the sound of a toy being thrown and I run to the spot where it is! I listen for footsteps and know when Mom is coming home. If you didn’t know that I can’t see, you couldn’t tell by watching me. I’m just an active, playful and happy bichon boy.
I love belly rubs and meeting people! I like to cuddle on the couch and also in bed. Although I am trained to sleep in my crate, one of my favorite things to do is to sleep in the Big People’s Bed. Mom says I don’t move at all and that I’m a supreme cuddler!
My fans and friends are hoping you will see my cuteness and happiness and want to love me forever, as I truly deserve a special family ‘cause I’m a special and VERY deserving little guy.
