My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mixed breed (with some hound in the mix) SPAYED female, 3 years old and 44 pounds.
DECEMBER UPDATE: During a photo session, we had a great time with Olive. She was a bit shy, but when she warmed up, she was lots of fun and kind of puppy-like. Olive has been trained to respond not only to verbal commands, but hand signals as well; she knows sit, down, shake, stay, and she will get up on her hind legs for a treat...and she LOVES treats. We think Olive would be a great match for someone who is interested in working in combo with their dog--maybe taking an advanced obedience class or agility or "nose work."
CUTENESS ALERT! Like any good hound dog, Olive is curious and likes to keep her nose to the ground and sniff! She's a sweetheart, that's for sure. During her evaluation, she was well mannered and did all the right moves with Oliver, our tester dog. Olive was responsive to moving toys or tennis balls, so maybe some of her hound dog is sight hound! Olive already knows sit, and we think she will easily learn the rules of the house.
