My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BUSTER is a sweet Terrier mix who, along with his brother, was a stray picked up by Animal Control in Union City in NW TN. Another rescue took Buster's brother, but nobody stepped up to claim or rescue Buster and his time was up. A local rescue volunteer pulled Buster to safety and now has him as a foster at her home. Buster has learned that life goes on without his brother by his side. His foster says that he is a "total clown". He is not high energy or high maintenance, but he is known to get "the zoomies" once or twice a day. He does seek approval and praise from his human companions. He has shown no issues with the other dogs at his foster home and did not show any interest in the cats at The Pound but we would cat test him first if you do have cats in your home. He is crate and house trained. He is one year old and weighs 34 pounds. He is vetted, vaccinated and neutered. He will be microchipped prior to adoption. He tested negative for heartworm. If you live in another state, don't let that stand in your way. We will work to transport Buster if it means he will have a good forever home. If you are another rescue group, we will waive the adoption fee but you can make a donation toward vetting at your discretion. The adoption fee will help to cover at least part of the cost of the veterinary care this dog has received.
