Tiger's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and declawed.

Tiger's Story...
I've got the eye of the Tiger and I'm using it to spot my furever family the minute they walk in the door at DCACC! I'm eleven years young, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, front paw declawed and ready to go home with you! How does that sound? Should I sell myself more? OK, here goes... I'm a pretty handsome guy (not to brag or anything!), I have very soft fur (I've dedicated years to getting this hairstyle just right!), and I am the best cuddler! I just love to have my belly rubbed! When I get belly rubs I roll right over on my back, cross my paws , and just purr and purr! Do you think you could rub my belly? Come by the shelter and meet me today! Thanks to the DuPage Animal Friends I can be adopted for just $1! Please visit www.dupageco.org/animalcontrol for more details or call 630-407-2800.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiger, a Wheaton Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wheaton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Wheaton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wheaton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wheaton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wheaton paves the way for another one to be saved.
