My name is Jack and I am described as a neutered male, tan German Shepherd Dog The shelter thinks I am about 8 years old. I have been at the shelter since Nov 08, 2016.
Jack is an OS that was brought in on 11/8/16 because they were moving. What a face, such expression, but he has some health issues. You can see on the side of the kennel record there are a couple of masses: Mass /tumor R Axillar area, small mass/tumor L side of face. Max did come in neutered and micro chipped the owners did do that. So that is minus $40.00 for the altering, if the public adopts direct, but the chip still has to be registered for the new owner so that fee still exists. I did not find any other medical problems noted, but it is a cursory exam. Poor Jack was adopted from here in September 2008 when he was just a puppy.

About Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs from various Los Angeles shelters the day they are to be euthanized. Our goal is to help provide animals with a second chance to a happy life and to help reduce pet overpopulation through spay and neuter programs. Once rescued, we place our dogs into loving foster homes while they await adoption. We do not keep dogs in kennels. Placing the dogs in foster homes is the first step to rehabilitation, as it allows us to thoroughly evaluate a dog's demeanor and needs enabling us to make the perfect match of dog and permanent owner. We attribute our high rate of successful placement to our foster program. At Ace of Hearts, we do not discriminate against any breed, including those in the bully breed family. Additionally, Ace of Hearts is dedicated to educating the public on how to be responsible pet owners and on the importance of spaying and neutering. We believe the real solution to pet overpopulation is through spaying and neutering pets.
