Grover's Story...
Grover was living in a pile of wood pallets outside of a bar in Park Slope when some neighbors asked for Infinite Hope's help in getting him into a foster home. He turned out to be super affectionate, loving kitty. His foster family says he's like a puppy, the way he follows people around to see what they're up to, ready to get in a lap when one is available. He is young and playful and could be a great companion for another young animal. He seemed stressed out by the baby in his foster home, so we think he'd be better suited to a home with older children. Grover is a wonderful kitty, ready to find his forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grover, a Brooklyn Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
