Jupiter's Story...
Jupiter is a sweet kitten who is like a puppy dog in some ways. He followed his foster dad around, always wanting to be a part of things. He and his litter mates were rescued from a backyard in Borough Park, Brooklyn. When they're not snoozing together, they're romping around, curiously looking into every nook and cranny they can find! We estimate that they are about 9 weeks old. They are currently staying at All Creatures Vet in Brooklyn, ready to meet potential adopters.

Infinite Hope adopts out kittens in pairs or to homes with another animal for company -- Jupiter would really love to find a home together with one of his sisters, like Nova (also on Adopt-a-Pet!). They are up to date with vaccines and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Spay/neuter and microchipping is included with adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jupiter, a Brooklyn Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
