Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Simon is an amazing young dog with congenital glaucoma. Simon is about a year and half old and supremely loving and charming. He gets along with everyone, dogs, cats and people. He is crate trained but would do well with a belly band in the beginning to prevent any disappointments. He will do will in a home with a gentle submissive companion dog and a yard would be fabulous! Simon needs to see the ophthalmologist or a vet who can check his eye pressures a minimum every 2 months. He gets 3 eye meds 3 times a day. His eye meds run about 40.00 a month. It is realistic to assume he will need to have both of his eyes removed in the future. Simon will be magical with or without his eyes. He will be the most amazing sweet dog you have ever met. And the money you spend on his vetting will be worth every penny. But frankly, most people won’t be able to afford him and we understand that. Please don’t apply if you can’t manage his medical needs. Simon is neutered, up to date with his vaccinations, heartworm tested, had his dental done and microchipped. If you are interested in Simon please feel free to contact us. We are volunteers and work full time. We try to get back to inquiries within a 24 hour time frame. We do require home checks. We rarely consider out of state adoptions.
