Meet Newton!           DOB: November 2011

Newton was rescued from a life on the streets when he along with his believed to be off spring (Lincoln & Francine) where found together searching for food. A handsome brown tabby with a sweet innocent face, captivating green eyes, with a white tipped tail, a gentle laid back soul and lots & lots of character! Newton will not be the first one to approach when you enter is room but will be the first one to give you his full attention while he checks you out and watches everything you do.  During his inspection process (of you) he plays a cute little game we like to call “follow me” he will walk up to you and when you bend down to pet him, he takes a couple of steps just far enough so you can just reach him, then turns and waits for you to take steps closer to him. After about the third repeat of this (cat & mouse) he totally blossoms into a fun loving, playful, affectionate, happy go lucky sweetie who accepts and truly enjoys any attention that he is given. If you want to be the one to show Newton, what it is like to have a “furever” home & family with unconditional love, please fill out an adoption application and contact us.

About North Toronto Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

North Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered Canadian charrity made up of dedicated volunteers concerned with the welfare of all cats and kittens. We rescue, foster, provide veterinary care (including blood testing, vaccines and spay/neuter) and arrange adoptions for abandoned or rescue felines.

For ten years, North Toronto Cat Rescue has been helping hundreds of souls in need wherever we find them, offering love, nourishment, safety, medical care and the hope of a "forever" home.

We are not a spay/neuter and release group as we believe all these animals deserve comfot, warmth and love, particularly during the long cold winter days here in Canada. They will remain with us until they find a permanent home.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Currently, we have a private Shelter for our animals so it is by appointment only. However we also have a partnership with Pet Value in Aurora (Bayview and Aurora Road) where many cats and kittens are also housed.

We attend local Fairs, Events such as "All About Pets" Show in Toronto, for example, and other fund-raising events during the year in the Toronto area.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adooption contract is found on-line.
