Fiona's Story...
his is firefighter fan Fiona. She showed up at the local firehouse and was looking for some help. She is all prettied up after her bath and style. She looks and smells like heaven and she knows it! She is about two years old, LOVES people and car rides!! Everyone that comes in contact with her instantly falls for her charm. She is calm, sweet, cuddles but loves to romp around when you are in the mood to play! This girl is one of a kind and she is waiting to hear #LetsGoHome!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fiona, a Lansing Australian Shepherd/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Collie for sale in Lansing, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Collie dog from a breeder in Lansing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lansing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lansing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Collie breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lansing paves the way for another one to be saved.
