My name is Maylee. When I heard I was going to a cat shelter, all I could imagine was that I’d be given an inventory number and a cage assignment where I would spend 23 1/2 hours a day until I was adopted. When I arrived here at the Blue Moon I was immediately picked up, given a big hug, called by my name, and told I would never be put in a cage. So there really is a kitty Heaven. By the end of the day I was feasting on my favorite tuna treats, chasing the red laser light, and being carried around and sung to. I was so tired I fell asleep in my own soft fleece bed while soft music played in the background. I’m about 4 years old, super sweet, affectionate, and loving. I’m de clawed in front so you shouldn’t have to worry about me scratching up your nice furniture either. I have been given a fresh rabies shot, am vaccinated, treated for fleas, and also de wormed.
