Maylee (front de clawed)'s Story...
De Clawed in front
My name is Maylee.  When I heard I was going to a cat shelter, all I could imagine was that I’d be given an inventory number and a cage assignment where I would spend 23 1/2 hours a day until I was adopted.  When I arrived here at the Blue Moon I was immediately picked up, given a big hug, called by my name, and told I would never be put in a cage.  So there really is a kitty Heaven.  By the end of the day I was feasting on my favorite tuna treats, chasing the red laser light, and being carried around and sung to.  I was so tired I fell asleep in my own soft fleece bed while soft music played in the background.  I’m about 4 years old, super sweet, affectionate, and loving.  I’m de clawed in front so you shouldn’t have to worry about me scratching up your nice furniture either.  I have been given a fresh rabies shot, am vaccinated, treated for fleas, and also de wormed.  With an adoption fee of only $85 and a quick call to 479-312-6858 or 479-677-3021 I can be all yours for the next 15 years.
OTHER CATS?  Yes, I’m good.
Children?  Maybe some older well-behaved ones.
Dogs?  NO

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maylee (front de clawed), a Witter Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Witter, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Witter.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Witter already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Witter breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Witter paves the way for another one to be saved.
