Meet Doc Cooper, a very handsome, 10 month old, 40 pound Shepherd mix male that is totally awesome and a very smart boy. Everyone that meets this boy immediately says what a jewel he is and what an easy and calm demeanor he has. He strikes a great first impression that doesn’t waiver as time goes on. He is consistently good and knows basic commands like sit, down and stay. He also follows hand motions and takes cues from his humans on the appropriate behavior in the house because he is a people pleaser all the way. He has been in two different households with children and the parents say that he is extremely good with them. He loves to cuddle with the children and wants to be by their side at all times, playing and watching over them. Doc Cooper loves everyone he meets and is always so excited to see you. He loves to lay on your lap or next to you but is always ready and alert for any new adventure. Doc Cooper has a beautiful soul and a tender disposition. He gets along well with cats, kids and other dogs. He is housetrained, leashed trained and crate trained but really doesn’t want to be in the crate at all. We think he might be just fine outside a crate and will mind his manners. Doc Cooper is up to date on all shots and he has been neutered and microchipped. He is ready to go on the next adventure with you. PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted. Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site. The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.
