DOGGIE BIO:
Little BELLA is a 5 year old, smooth black and tan 10 lb Dachshund LOVE. She absolutely enjoys cuddling and she really enjoys peanut butter in her Kong toys. Sadly, this sweet little girl comes to us blind (from birth) with an IVDD injury. Although her back legs are currently paralyzed, she is young and has FULL control of her bladder and bowels. This means it is highly likely she will have a full recovery. It is just going to take 30 days of complete crate rest and use of a sling for pottying. ODR, Inc. is helping BELLA find a wonderfully loving family willing to save this cute little girl and willing to put in the work to get her better and then give her a wonderful forever home!

ODR, INC. ADOPTION CRITERIA (aka Our Fine Print):
Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria for dogs that we adopt and that we recommend to owners whose doxies we list courtesy posts for, the sole aim of which is to facilitate a successful adoption with a forever family.
*Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time?
*Have a securely fenced yard?
*We do not place same gender dogs in a home unless they were raised together, and *Children need to be 12 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie).
*We prefer non smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc). *Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog.
Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these or similar issues.
