Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Casey is a 6-year old neutered male German Shepherd who weighs 125lbs. He is a loving boy who came to us after Christmas, having lost his owner through an unspeakable tragedy. Casey is grieving and we are keeping mindful of this as he adjusts to his new situation. He is housetrained and has lived with a turtle before, but is unknown with cats and small children. He rides well in the car too! Casey is warming up to exercise and becoming more confident in his new surroundings. He is getting stronger and starting to lose weight which must continue. His ideal weight is approx 100lbs. This gentle giant enjoys his brushings and we are building upon each walk a little bit more each time to get some muscle tone back. He is quite handsome, with his classic colors and strong build. He wants to help us help him move on. He of course loved his owner, but he has more potential than perhaps he was given credit for in the past. We want to put more joy into his life by getting him back in shape physically. Our goal is to find him a wonderful family who will continue his program of exercise and good nutrition.
