Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Honey (aka Honeybee) is spayed female, Jack Russell mix, almost 4yrs young, current on vaccines, about 32lbs, house trained, crate trained, hw negative, and like all of our canines...flea free. She loves and thrives on human companionship AND enjoys her outdoor time with her 4 legged sister, Gracie an adult Golden Retriever. We believe an older and calm dog who is a role model will help her adjust to a new home, family and the routine of life....and as a possible playmate too. Honeybee knows the following commands Sit, Wait/Stay, and Here. She loves training and would be great at agility. When training we have found some "high value" treats that she seems to like ALOT....hot dog slices !
Playtime and exercise are an important part of Honeybee's daily routine. She does enjoy car rides and will walk well on leash when using the Gentle Leader. Honeybee is a very HAPPY girl that loves being with her family, especially children who can keep her busy and occupied inside and outside. She will also show her calm demeanor when she is comfortable and trusting of her companions and environment. She is good with most other dogs that are calm and typically adult age, we do not recommend she live with cats. She can be quite a cuddler with her human companions if given the chance as that is her "HAPPY" place; she is good with all family members (adults and children).
