Hi! I'm Kathmandu, and I'm a pretty awesome cat! I just spent some time in foster healing from an injury. While there I discovered my love for catnip toys, scratching posts (both cardboard and carpet), and wand toys. At first I was a little skittish, and I still get spooked with loud/new things, but once I'm adjusted I like to explore. I wouldn't consider myself a lap cat, but I really enjoy curling up next to you and relaxing.
Chat with the front staff about my time in foster and medical history.
My adoption fee includes my spay or neuter, a free vet visit, vaccinations and my microchip.
Primary Color: Orange Tabby
Weight: 6.6

About Foothills Animal Shelter

About Our Shelter...

Foothills Animal Shelter, formerly known as Table Mountain Animal Center, is an open-admissions facility (never turning away an animal) and one of the largest animal shelters in the metro Denver area – taking in 9,000 animals each year. We are a true community resource that offers a broad variety of animal welfare programs and services. Low-cost spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchipping and dog licensing are some of the services offered to the public.

The organization’s important mission: to provide the best care possible for every animal that enters our doors.

Community, Adopt, Reunite and Educate (C.A.R.E.) are the four key principles of Foothills Animal Shelter.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter and first vaccines, medical exam, and microchip.

How to Adopt from Foothills Animal Shelter:
Visit the Shelter or one of our offsite adoption partner locations to find a pet. Once you’ve decided on an animal, you should check with staff to see the status and history of the animal. At this time, you can fill out an adoption application and visit with the animal.

We recommend you bring all family members to the Shelter to meet with the animal before you consider adopting. If you are interested in adopting a dog, bring any household dogs to the Shelter to determine if it is a good match. Also, if you rent your home, please bring the pet policy in your lease or rental agreement and contact information for your landlord.

Once your application is reviewed, you can pay the adoption fees and take your new pet home. It may take some time for your new pet to adjust to its new environment. If you have questions or concerns after adopting, please contact us at 303-278-7575.
