Facts about Remy

  • Breed: German Shepherd Dog/Pit Bull Terrier Mix
  • Color: Brindle
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Everybody wants young dogs and puppies, and poor Remy gets no attention. Remy still has lots of years ahead of him, and wants to live out his senior years in a home of his own. He was saved from a high kill shelter in North Carolina where he was completely out of time, then treated for heartworms, vetted, and neutered. He loves hiking and doesn't have any problems with his hips, as so many shepherds do. He is a perfect gentleman in the car. He is friendly and happy to greet anybody he meets. If you'd be interested in giving Remy the home he has wanted for so long, email us at bhtbpuppies@yahoo.com.

About Bring Home the Brindle Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Our rescue saves brindle colored dogs from high kill shelters in the south, where hundreds of healthy, adoptable dogs and puppies are euthanized DAILY. We have the dogs vetted, altered if old enough, and socialized, and then they will be available for adoption to loving homes. We specialize in rescuing brindles of all breeds, but with an emphasis on Mountain Curs, Plott Hounds, and Dutch Shepherds. We also have non-brindles for adoption; these were dogs that were so special and so sweet that we made an exception to our "brindle only" rule!

Come Meet Our Pets...

We will have available puppies and dogs at the Germantown Petsmart from 1pm - 3pm on the second and last Saturday of each month.

Our Adoption Process...

Our dogs are spayed/neutered before being adopted, unless the dog is too young. Then a deposit is collected, to be returned with proof of sterilization.
We require a vet reference and if renting, proof that dogs are allowed.
We reserve the right to refuse to adopt to anyone, for whatever reason.
Adoption fees are $250 for puppies and $195 for adults.
