Hardy, and his buddy Laurel (not related), came to us from a rural animal control shelter when their time was up. Hardy was picked up as a stray but clearly had a family at some point because he was found to be neutered and is very friendly and outgoing. He and Laurel look very similar to one another and came to HHS at the same time, plus they get along really well, so I thought their names were quite fitting. Hardy is a bit more laid-back and reserved than Laurel, but he is just as sweet and affectionate. He loves to be petted and seeks out attention from his humans when the opportunity presents itself. He likes to play, but he would much rather hang out and chill with you. Hardy does great with other cats and instantly bonded to Laurel as soon as they met. Kids are no problem as he gets along with everyone he meets, and I'm sure that he would also do fine with a cat-friendly dog once properly introduced. Hardy is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped - DOB Oct 2012.
