Duncan's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Duncan's Story...
Duncan is a sweet boy. He is mellow and laid back in the house, but lets loose outside! He loves to play! He gets along great with other dogs and is very social. He loves to wrestle with his foster dog buddies and play keep-away with toys (the plush ones are his favorite!). He shows potential for fetch, too! He also co-exists well with cats. Duncan is house-trained, crate-trained, and has wonderful house-manners. He would be great as an only dog or as an addition to a home that already has dogs. He's very loyal and insists on following his foster mom around just to know what's going on. He loves to go on walks and is always up for a car ride. Duncan is just a great dog, no doubt about it! If you're looking for an easy, adult dog that will promise to always think the best of you, then Duncan is surely the dog for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duncan, a Melrose Basset Hound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Melrose, or seeking a Basset Hound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Melrose.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Melrose already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Melrose breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Basset Hound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Melrose paves the way for another one to be saved.
