Annie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Annie's Story...
Annie is a very funny girl! She's very shy and reserved in public, but at home she's quite the opposite!! She loves attention and could be considered outgoing. She is house-trained and good in the house, although when settling into her foster home her curiosity often got the best of her. She's great with other dogs, even with the smaller ones and puppies. She loves chasing her foster dog buddies around the yard and snoozing with them in the sun. She does like to play rough, so she'd need a sturdy friend. Annie is also good with cats and usually doesn't give them the time of day. She's crazy about going on walks and has learned to hop right in the car as well. Once Annie is comfortable and confident she's all kisses and is more than willing to swap kisses for ear rubs! Annie will need a quite home that is patient while she's getting to know her new surroundings. She'd also probably do best in a home with another dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annie, a Melrose Beagle/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Labrador Retriever for sale in Melrose, or seeking a Beagle/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Melrose.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Melrose already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Melrose breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Beagle/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Melrose paves the way for another one to be saved.
