Ms KiKi’s story:
Hi this is Ms KiKi. She is about 3 years old and grew up as a feral cat in the Clayton neighborhood in Denver. I started feeding her, trapped her and got her fixed in April 2015. That summer she moved into my yard and I eventually made her a house in my garage. On Thanksgivings 2016 she finally accepted being pet and totally fell in love with humans. We tried bringing her inside when it was extremely cold that winter and she was very uncomfortable and preferred to stay outside. This winter that all changed! She now wants to be inside and enjoy the luxuries of a pampered inside cat. She does not like other cats (that is an understatement) and I have 3 in my house, so Ms KiKi really needs a home of her own where she can get all the love she deserves.
Ms. KiKi is extremely loving and social, she loves to cuddle and nuzzle your neck. She gives kisses and loves to be held. She has transitioned well into an inside cat – uses her scratching post, the litter box and is very playful. She loves to sleep right next to you with her head on your pillow just like a person! She is honestly my favorite cat and has the best personality. Everyone who meets her falls in love – and she loves everyone!
Now for the negative: Ms KiKi does have a runny nose. She had a very bad sinus infection when I discovered her, but was finally able to clear it up this summer. However, one side of her nose still runs. I think the prolonged sinus infection may have caused some permanent damage. She can sound wheezy at times and sneezes often. I have found the runny nose improved after she came inside, but it still exists. She has been known to blow bubbles with the one side of her nose. This does not bother her or slow her down, but it is something that an adopter should know about. Especially because she might sneeze in your face!
I am looking for a loving home where she can be the only cat and be adored by all the humans! She does get along with dogs that do not chase her. She loved my great dane and rubbed all over him!
