Hold a compass to your heart and you will find your true heart’s desire lies to the South! Which just happens to be where I live! Hello, everyone! My name is Luciana (but you can call me Lucy) and I am a beautiful 5-6 mo old pup, expected to be a nice sold smedium. Yep, that's right! Right between small and medium! I was found with a an extreme case of mange in December running across the freeway. A kind lady rescued me and now I'm ready to be adopted! Not only do I have good looks, but I am a super fun and playful girl! Speaking of playing, I have made some great doggy pals here at Rock City Rescue. I haven't been to a dog park, yet, but another dog friend in the house would be just fine! I would be a great hiking companion, as I love to be out and active. I also live with a kitty, so as long as yours is puppy-tolerant, a cat would be just fine. I am just a cute, snuggly, bouncy and fun girl with a heart of gold. Speaking of gold, I heard there is some more to be found out there. Grab that compass and let’s go on the next adventure…together!! Email your phone number to rockcityrescue@gmail.com and we can set out on an adventure! I come to you spayed and vaccinated.

About Rock City Rescue- NY chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

We are committed to rescuing and rehoming dogs and cats who have been abandoned or lost. We pull dogs and cats who have been abandoned or owner surrendered. We also pull dogs from high kill shelters to help them be united with loving forever homes, as well as help rehome animals found as strays and help families rehome their own pets they can no longer care for.

Our Adoption Process...

All animals 3 months or older must be sterilized prior to adoption. There is an adoption contract that is signed once an adopter has been approved for an adoption. There is no fee to apply for a dog, but adoption feeds vary from dog to dog.

Currently, this rescue is run by one person and a variety of foster homes. We are full-time jobs like everyone else, so please be patient with us while we return your calls and emails. 90% of the time we return calls and emails within 48-72 hours.
