Hi! I’m Tico, a very sweet, approximate 5-year-old, neutered male, tan and white apple head Chihuahua and weigh about 4 pounds. The nice folks from Black Dog Walk took me in after I was hit by a car and were generous enough to cover the cost of the surgeries and have fostered me through my recovery. I suffered some neurological damage at first, but that has subsided. I also lost my right eye after my acci-dent, but I can see very well with my left eye. I take liquid medication three times a day to prevent seizures since my accident occurred; and more than likely, I’ll will need to take it for the rest of my life. This medicine only costs $38 per year. I have recovered nicely with the help of my awesome foster parents, although they are great, it’s time for me to find a forever home. My foster mom says I am a fantastic cuddle bug that loves to be held. In addition to being so awesome, I get along with my foster dog and cat siblings and am house trained! Since I am loyal, I’ll probably bond with my new family in no time at all. I would be okay in a home with children over the age of 8. If you’re up for a companion that loves to be held and sit on your lap, I’m definitely your type! My $75 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccines, rabies vaccine, and microchip. If you would like to give me a forever home, please contact Loa for an application. A $37.50 deposit will hold me until a home check can be completed. The other $37.50 will be due before taking me home.
