Facts about Arctic

  • Breed: Ragdoll
  • Color: White
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Long
Arctic is a precious, and I do mean precious, 1 1/2 year old white Ragdoll mix. Like Yukon, Arctic has a larger nose, bigger face, and silkier coat than the Persians. Arctic is a girl, not a boy as we were told. Arctic is very outgoing, though she does not like having her picture taken. She is very sweet and cuddly. She gets along with other cats but she does not have to go home with other cats.

Arctic is one of our Kuwaiti girls.

If you are interested in adopting this precious girl, please contact us at merlinshoperagdollrescue@gmail.com for an application. She is in a foster home in Ennis, Texas. Her adoption fee is $175.

Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states.

Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email.

KITTEN POLICY: Unless otherwise indicated, all cats under the age of 3 must go into a home with another cat/kitten under the age of three or be adopted with a buddy. Ragdolls and Maine Coons are physically slow to mature, benefit greatly from the social interactions with another cat and often long for the companionship. Obviously, some young adults not raised around other cats or with more independent personalities may be exceptions to those rules, but that is up to the discretion of the Rescue to assess that need and is not negotiable. Special prices are made for buddy adoptions.
