Meet the Silky Pups! These beautiful babies were born to mama Silky in a shelter, and Labs and More was able to rescue the entire family and get them into a safe and loving foster home. These pups were fostered with an experienced puppy foster, and they have gotten lots of love and attention. All the pups love to play and are very energetic. At only a few months old, these cuties need families that understand what a huge commitment raising a puppy is and all the hard work that comes with it. These pups need to go to experienced dog owners and they will require some extra attention. Feathery is not a fan of being around other dogs and would do well with some personalized training. We recommend that she go to a forever family with children that are 12 years old and older since younger kids are not her favorite, and she needs a calm household to balance out her nervous energy. As cute as they are, these pups are very independent and will let you know it. Feathery is looking for a family to help her learn all the things she needs to be an amazing companion: potty training, crate training, house training, leash training, proper socialization, and strong leadership. She is going to need lots of exercise (we think she'll make an excellent running partner!), playtime, and attention. If you think you are ready for the rewarding challenge of raising a puppy like Feathery, your first step is to fill out the adoption application on our website.
The adoption includes the altering of the dog, current vaccinations, and microchipping. For more information on the adoption donation and our adoption process, please visit our website at www.labsandmore.org and click on Adopt. You will find our online adoption application there as well. Once you are approved to adopt, we will discuss how to meet our available dogs. To keep our puppies healthy, we only allow approved applicants to handle puppies at our adoption events. Our dogs are NOT housed at our mailing address. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit, all-volunteer organization. Thank you for reaching out to rescue a dog in need of hope!
