Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Dooda, and I am a 5-month-old, male, Heeler and Border Collie mix. I owe my life to a runner who happened upon my sisters and me on rural property. We were without our mother and a mere 3 weeks old. Like most herding dogs I am intelligent, energetic, and loyal. I am a very curious and outgoing pup, and I’m looking for my soulmate to explore this world with me. I am working on my potty training and crate training. I’m not a fan of the crate, but can you blame me when there is so much to see and do? They say a tired dog is a good dog, and I am looking for a friend or family that can help me get plenty of exercise and stimulate my active mind. If you’ve ever loved a herding dog, you will know that the work you put in to train me with be rewarded exponentially with love, laughter, and loyalty. I do great with other dogs and cats. I have not been tested with toddlers, but am very affectionate with school aged children. Send in your application today so we can meet!
My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip with free lifetime registration! If you're interested in meeting/adopting me, please visit rescueonespringfield.com/adoption-application/ and fill out the form!
