Cinnamon's Story...
Hi, my name is Cinnamon,

I had to come back to the Ark, because my adoptive parents separated and could no longer keep me. They actually had me adopted from the Ark 8 years ago when I was but a puppy.
I am a bit shy at first, but I will come around. At the moment i am adjusting to the live at the Ark, but would really rather have a family again for my own.
I am healthy, and a very pretty cinnamon or chestnut fur.

Please come to visit me at the Ark and ask for Cinnamon, that's me!

Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only. We do require a secure fenced-in yard to adopt our larger dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cinnamon, a Huntsville Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
