Hello, my name is Sarah. I am a gorgeous kitty cat. I have beautiful eyes and dilute tabby-tortie markings in my soft, clean fur. I am a very sweet kitty who is about 2 years old. I have a soft soul and a kind heart. I am gentle and mellow, a bit shy at first, but with a little time in a new environment, I will warm up pretty quickly. I have lived with both dogs and other cats. I enjoy companionship and being part of a home. I always use a litterbox like a good girl. I like to play with toys and to watch the birds and squirrels outside. I will be happiest in a calm home without a lot of loud noise and chaos. Sunday, August 13: Adoption Event at Dodge Park in Sterling Heights from noon to 4 p.m., come meet adoptable pets at the
2017 Paws in the Park 10-year anniversary celebration for Paws for Life, including adoptable pets, dog walk, family picnic, vendors, dog games and kids' activities. Games, raffles, entertainment and fun for everyone!
Adoption Process: Complete the application at
www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
