Henrietta's Story...
Henrietta is about 5 years young. Since she is robust she plans on taking up exercising in order to become fit and trim. She appears to have been taken care of at one point in her life, however she ended up in a kill shelter with all of these miserable sad dogs. Not being a puppy she would have been the next one to be PTS the magic words in this society - put to sleep. Humans have that power, you know! This time I will be very carefull when I choose my forever family! Someone will help me, in this process!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Palatine/Kildeer/Buffalo Grove, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Palatine/Kildeer/Buffalo Grove.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palatine/Kildeer/Buffalo Grove already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palatine/Kildeer/Buffalo Grove breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palatine/Kildeer/Buffalo Grove paves the way for another one to be saved.
