Hootie's Story...
Hootie is a black lab/boxer?? Mix. He is approx 2-3 years old. He is current on all shots and altered. He’s great with kids, plays like a boxer with his feet. LOVES THE WATER HOSE AND SWIMMING POOL. Will wallow in pool when he’s warm. He is truly a joy to watch play. He does like other dogs but would prefer to place him in a home with female dogs if possible. Hootie was rescued from the brink of starvation and death. He now weighs approx 65#s and is full grown. Hootie loves to be loved. He’s a great boy and would make a young teenager a great companion. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hootie, a Palatine/Kildeer/Buffalo Grove Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Palatine/Kildeer/Buffalo Grove, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Palatine/Kildeer/Buffalo Grove.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palatine/Kildeer/Buffalo Grove already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palatine/Kildeer/Buffalo Grove breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palatine/Kildeer/Buffalo Grove paves the way for another one to be saved.
