Jake's Story...
Jake, adult black labrador retriever. I am doing much better with my confidence level. I am very well behaved, and love to be around people. I respond well to commands. You are probably wondering why I have such a name...well I had it very rough in life. I have been abused by my previous family, if you can call it a family! I ended up in a shelter, which made me very scared. Many people do not understand Labradors. We are sensitive, smart and full of energy. We also get very depressed, when noone walks us, pets us, talks to us or plays with us. That was my life. I get scared of many things, and coward. I love to play with other dogs, and love to retrieve. I love being outdoors, probably because I have been in a shelter for so long.
