Hi there. I am a boy called Pok Pak. . I am around 4 years old. I am a Soi Dog who has found himself looking for a home again. I currently live in Ottawa, Canada, but unfortunately my owner can no longer look after me.
One of my favourite things to do is to run freely in the garden. That is so much fun: I can smell things and stretch my legs. My little face lights up whenever I have the chance to enjoy time outside. But I admit it, one of the main reasons I like the garden so much is because the high walls make me feel safe. I have always been a reserved character and I get very nervous of new people and new surroundings.
But once I have warmed up to you, I’m the sweetest dog in the world. I can be very gentle and calm and just need someone to give me the time I need to feel safe and relaxed.
So I am looking for an experienced and gentle owner, with lots of patience to help me settle into a new environment. And a secure garden...a secure garden is a must! I know I will enjoy adventuring and going out for walks with you, but this will happen in my own time. But with your help and patience anything is possible.
Meeting other dogs makes me nervous. So I would do best in a home without other dogs or with a gentle dog, that allows me my space. When left home alone I don’t chew on things or bark but I show my distress by doing my business in the house on those occasions. Perhaps you are home a lot and have the knowledge and time to teach me to feel more comfy on my own?
I am a healthy dog and all I need is a second chance for a forever home. I would like to stay in Canada. It is my home now, so am looking for a friendly family close by to please look after me!
