Max's Story...
Max here and it's perfectly clear that I am a very gentle and sweet soul.  I love people and I promise to be a very devoted companion.   I am quiet and housebroken. I love car rides.  I just wound up in scary situation and I thought that I needed to protect myself.  My last owner said they had no time for me anymore, so now I am looking for a devoted new person that has time, love and patience to give a deserving little man like myself.   Perhaps that person is you? My adoption fee is $100 and includes; neuter, microchip, 6 week Training Class, free veterinary exam (Portland/Milwaukie area), 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Portland Pointer/Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Greyhound for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pointer/Greyhound dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Greyhound breeders who help with Pointer/Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
