My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Greetings! My name is Betty and I’m Beagle/Lab mix from Kentucky! I’m around two years old and I weigh about 40 pounds. I was brought into the world of rescue as an owner surrender. See, I had this really bad leg that had an old injury to it. The wonderful people at Mobile Mutts Rescue did hip surgery on it first, but sadly it didn’t correct the problem so they removed it. Now I’m a tri-pawed bundle of love! I get around just fine on three legs! It’s like I don’t even miss it and come on, what’s cuter than a dog romping around on three legs? Nothing! 
So here are a few things about me you might want to know. Other than being a fabulous three-legged pooch, I’m very well-mannered! I don’t jump up, I’m quiet and I’m told by many that I’m a delight to have around! I would be perfectly fine as an only dog so I can get all the love I want! However, another dog would be just as fine as well. Most of all I love my people and just want to spend time with them. I’m also house trained, I love children and other dogs and BONUS I’m cat friendly!
