KIP was left behind at our home when we moved in.  She is currently isolated in a small room for her own protection. She is a sweet and loving cat, but can't be around other cats or dogs. When she is removed to another environment (even another room), she goes into defense mode and acts like a feral cat. She would be happy as an indoor and outdoor cat.  She needs someone who would understand she is just afraid until she adjusts to her new environment.  The adjustment doesn't take long; we have moved her to three different locations in the house and she has adjusted quickly.  She has long black hair and is very healthy and very loving.   Also, she is about 3 1/2 years old.

About Brother Wolf Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Brother Wolf Animal Rescue is known for their excellence in matching people with the best dog or cat that would suit their lifestyle. Today we are proud to have the largest NO-KILL shelter in Asheville. Brother Wolf Animal Rescue was established in 2006. We started off as a very small group of people, taking dogs and cats from gassing shelters in GA. We found wonderful homes for these animals but realized while we were saving these particular animals, we had a much bigger problem in our community that we needed to face. Perfectly healthy, highly adoptable animals in our community are being euthanized every day. Rescued pets are not broken or damaged goods. They are wonderful animals who have ended up homeless through no fault of their own.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our facility is located at 31 Glendale Avenue in Asheville, off Swannanoa River Rd, 1/2 mile from Lowe's. Open every day.

Our Adoption Process...

All adoptions will require a contract and discussions with one of our adoption counselors. Based on the needs of the particular animal, we reserve the right to require a home visit at the discretion of the adoption counselor. All our animals will be altered before adoption and up-to-date on standard vaccinations. We do collect an adoption fee.
